Our AI assistant replies at any hour, and says it's an AI. A person follows up in working hours.
Our advisor plans to work 9 am to 8 pm India time (IST).
We call only if you tick calls, at the time you choose.
See it from far away
Once projects open, your advisor walks the site on a video call while you ask questions.
If family can visit for you, the advisor goes with them. You keep the project file either way.
The basics, in general terms
Buying as an NRI, step by step
This isn't legal or tax advice. Rules depend on your situation, so confirm with a lawyer, a CA and your bank.
Documents to keep ready
- Your passport
- Your OCI card, if you have one
- A PAN
- Proof of address
Please don't send us any of these now. We don't need them before registration.
- 1
What you can buy
In general, NRIs and OCI cardholders can buy homes in India. Agricultural land, plantation property and farmhouses are different and generally not allowed. We deal only in homes.
- 2
How payments usually work
RBI's rules decide this. In general, payments come through Indian banking channels, such as money sent from abroad or your NRE or NRO account. A RERA-registered project can't ask for more than 10% before a registered agreement for sale.
- 3
Tax when you buy
The buyer often has to deduct tax at source and deposit it. Rules differ if the seller is also an NRI. A CA should confirm before you pay.
- 4
If you can't be there to sign
A family member can act under a power of attorney, which a lawyer should draft.
- 5
Seeing the home
